Our Team

Our primary expertise is design, creative strategy, brand identity, and project management. We curate project teams from our trusted network of writers, programmers, photographers, videographers, and more. This approach allows us to stay nimble and focused on each client’s specific project needs.

  • Principal & Creative Director

Renessa has 20 years of experience in graphic, web, and user experience design, branding, and visual identity. She leads creative teams and creates memorable solutions driven by her love for research and design. Born and raised in Boston, she unofficially started her career as a teen in the 90s at Artists for Humanity, a nonprofit employing urban youth in art and design. She holds an MA in Critical & Creative Thinking from UMass, Boston, and a BA from the New England Institute of Art. Renessa also co-hosted the podcast The Queer Creative for three years.

  • Project Manager

A designer and fine artist by training, Nina keeps projects humming along smoothly at Ciampa Creative. Her love for lists and grids shines in her project workflows, yet her thinking breaks through the boundaries of any box. With a master of fine arts degree from Lesley University, Nina came to Boston by way of Canada, Germany, and her birthplace of Switzerland. She studied international relations and economics as an undergraduate. In addition, Nina is the studio’s go-to color consultant, a skill she continuously hones in her fine art studio.

  • “Not only do they produce creative and professional work, but they bring knowledge of our organization and a sensitivity about social issues to the table.”

    – Julie Burns, President & CEO, RIZE Massachusetts

  • “This was our second project with Ciampa Creative, and they came through with flying colors.”

    – Cynthia Nimmo, President & CEO, Women’s Funding Network

  • “Working with Ciampa Creative has been a pleasure! They are organized, professional, talented, and passionate about their work. They created a powerful video to market our organization. They are just such great people to work with.”

–Joanne Peterson, Founder and Executive Director, Learn to Cope

  • “Ciampa Creative is a delight to work with. Their process was very inclusive and it gave everyone a chance to have a strong voice in the strategic direction. They then effectively distilled the input into a strong design concept, and ultimately a great end product. This is no easy task in a large organization like ours.”

    – Jay McQuaide, SVP Corporate Communications & Citizenship, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
